The Ambani family visited Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai on the auspicious occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, 19 April which also marked Mukesh Ambani’s birthday. Accompanied by their sons Akash Ambani and Anant Ambani, along with Shloka Mehta and Radhika Merchant, the occasion blended devotion with celebration in a setting rooted in tradition.

Amid this meaningful backdrop, Nita Ambani made a striking impression in a red organza silk saree that felt both ceremonial and refined.

The elegant six-yard drape, masterfully styled by celebrity drapist Anbarasu Mahadevan, featured exquisite handwoven floral-inspired embroidery. Broad, hand-embroidered borders enhanced the saree’s look, allowing the delicate organza fabric to shimmer subtly with every movement.

Nita Ambani draped the saree in a classic traditional manner, with neatly pleated front folds and the pallu cascading gracefully over her shoulder, embodying both modesty and refinement suitable for a temple visit.

Complementing the saree was a matching blouse in half-length sleeves adorned with intricate hand embroidery, a wide U-shaped neckline, and a cropped hem that ensured a tailored, flattering fit. The rich red hue, often associated with auspiciousness and vitality in Indian culture added a warm, celebratory glow to the ensemble, perfectly aligning with the joyous family milestone.

Nita Ambani’s jewellery choices elevated the look, with a magnificent gold rani haar featuring coin-like motifs inspired by ancient temple relics, symbolising heritage and devotion. This was paired with oversized, intricately crafted gold earrings that commanded attention through their detailed workmanship. A substantial gold ring centred with a prominent diamond, along with coordinating red and gold bangles, completed the jewellery ensemble, reflecting her appreciation for traditional Indian craftsmanship blended with modern elegance.

A vibrant red bindi (sindoor) adorned her forehead, complemented by kohl-lined eyes, muted pink eyeshadow, defined brows, and softly glossed mauve lips. Her hair was styled in loose, centre-parted waves with gentle volume, framing her face softly. The entire appearance was thoughtfully curated, with makeup by the renowned Mickey Contractor.

The other Ambani family members wore elegant traditional ensembles, Mukesh in a cream kurta-pyjama with brown Nehru coat; Akash in a pink floral kurta; Anant in a blue kurta-pajama with jacket; Shloka and Radhika in graceful kurta sets.
