Footballer Lamine Yamal as Global Ambassador for American Eagle

LONDON: According to a report in WWD, American Eagle has tapped Spanish footballer Lamine Yamal as global ambassador.

The five-year partnership with the international football player represents the brand’s first investment in sports culture and its dedication to global talent, reports WWD.

Beginning in summer 2026, Yamal will participate in global campaigns and limited-edition product collaborations. The signing comes with the World Cup due to take place in North and South America from June 11 to July 19, with the final being played at Metlife stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., near New York City.
