Another exciting event from the day was when Dame Sarah Mullally, according to fan footage being shared on X, that shows the Archbishop stopped her procession from the altar to the outside of the cathedral and bowed to front of Prince William, 43, and Princess Kate, 44, who represented King Charles at the event. The royal who are next in line to the throne continued clapping along with the rest of the congregation
Prince William and Princess Kate both smiled, and the Princess of Wales gave Dame Sarah Mullally a small nod before Mullally resumed her walk with the rest of the procession.
According to a report by People, this exchange was similar to a scene that happened in 2013, when King Charles and Queen Camilla attended the installation of Justin Welby as the 105th Archbishop of Canterbury.
