Mumbai’s party scene hit peak glam as global icon Rihanna hosted her much-talked-about Fenty Beauty after-party last night, and while the “Diamond” singer sparkled in custom Alaïa, it was Isha Ambani who stole the sartorial spotlight with a look that was pure, unadulterated couture magic.
Walking hand-in-hand with Rihanna, the business mogul looked like she’d stepped directly out of a modern myth. Isha donned a breathtaking creation from Dior’s Spring-Summer 2026 collection, a line that recently debuted in a show space designed by Luca Guadagnino and Stefano Baisi. Dipped in a soft, ethereal seafoam blue, the gown perfectly captured the season’s “grand fantasyscape” aesthetic.
The ensemble featured a classic semi-cap-sleeved bodice with a high circular neckline, providing a sophisticated canvas for the intricate artistry above. The gown was meticulously detailed with 3D floral appliqués and a subtle, crystalline shimmer that mimicked the play of light on water. What elevated the look from “classic princess” to “high-fashion icon” were the sheer, see-through panels at the hem. This modernised touch transformed the minidress base into a floor-length red-carpet masterpiece, creating a cascading, ethereal effect as she moved.
In true “quiet luxury” fashion, Isha opted to let the Dior craftsmanship do the heavy lifting.
She anchored the whimsical blue hue with a minimal black velvet bow, which felt very old Hollywood. A few choice diamond drops and a ring were all that was needed to complement her signature glowing glam. Keeping it polished, she chose a sleek, middle-parted hairdo that framed her face and allowed the high neckline of the gown to shine.
Rihanna, on the other hand, went all goth, styling her all-black dress with the diamond haathphool by Manish Malhotra while gracing the carpet at the Fenty Beauty launch party in association with Tira Beauty and Sephora.
