Priyanka Chopra’s New Look In Red Ombre Hair Is Giving Iconic Retro Energ

Priyanka Chopra just served a full-blown 2010s fashion throwback, and she did it her way. Stepping out in New York City’s Chelsea neighbourhood on February 24, the actress leaned into nostalgia with a beauty and fashion combo that felt boho, glam and early Instagram-era cool. But the real star of the look? Her cherry cola red ombre hair.
Chopra first debuted the dip-dye shade at The Bluff premiere on February 17. This time, she took it up a notch. The rich red colour of the hair created a bold look. Styled in soft, natural mermaid waves, the waist-touching length gave the colour even more impact. She paired the waves with a deep side part and added delicate, halo-inspired braids along her hairline on both sides. This could be a subtle nod to the boho crown braid trend once loved by Blake Lively, Vanessa Hudgens and Lauren Conrad.
While her hair was relaxed and romantic, her outfit told a slightly different story. Chopra wore a structured white jumpsuit featuring a crisp dress shirt-style bodice, eyelet cutouts down the front and wide-legged trousers. It was polished, clean and almost corporate, but Priyanka, being herself, decided to give it a glam twist too. The actress layered a sheer white fishnet skirt over her outfit. The skirt came with a hip-high slit, which further flared her slacks. With this fashion-filled move, she revived the once-controversial dress-over-pants trend, which was famously embraced by Emma Watson and Rihanna in the early 2010s.
Suede Coat For Layering
To finish the look, Chopra added a stunning outerwear piece. The actress added a dramatic edge to her look by wearing a golden-taupe suede coat by Charlotte Simone. Worn open, the knee-length coat featured fluffy sherpa-style accents at the wrists and along the edges. The textured layering added warmth against the monochrome white base.
Her makeup finished off the look pretty well. Burgundy lipstick echoed the red tones in her hair, while smoky eyeshadow and rust-toned blush enhanced the overall warmth of the look.
The look was a noticeable shift from the gladiator-inspired aesthetic she has been channelling while promoting The Bluff. Given her NYC appearance, though, it is safe to say that Priyanka Chopra knows exactly how to reinvent a trend.
